Meet The Flying Brokers!
Steamboat Springs Colorado was home to Award-winning top producers Mike and Christina Chapman for 30 years; the ultimate paradise until McCall Idaho. Charmed by 3.1 million acre Frank Church Wilderness sliced by legendary rivers, Lewis & Clark Country, deep canyons, 300 lakes within a 100-mile radius, and two local ski areas, the Chapmans live an epoch lifestyle simliar to that found 20 years ago in Steamboat. After they escaped the Yampa Valley frenzy, they relive vintage in McCall. Throttled with new enthusiam, Mike and Christina took off in the McCall real estate market with great acceleration and leveled off with a command of the Idaho market.
Mike Chapman, Designated Broker, GRI, has an engineering degree from Tulane University. He worked as an EMT on Steamboat Ambulance, finish carpenter of high-end mountain homes, ten years as ski patroller with both Steamboat and later Alta Utah Ski Patrol. He opened STR Automotive, an automotive service center specilizing in Toyota Land Cruisers and import vehicles in Steamboat.
Mike's personality is like a dauntless sortie pilot focused upon the mission at hand. His work experiences demonstrate his capacity to develop specialized knowledge with a strong desire to help others.
For fun, Mike arcs large GS ski turns, rides motorcycles, builds Toyota Land Cruisers, 4-wheels, restores rare Ducati motorcycles, and flies his Found Aircraft Bushhawk, a sturdy backcountry tailwheel aircraft.
Christina Chapman, Sales Associate & Author, completed a 23-year sport's psychology career specializing in Olympic athletes before real estate. Her background fortified writing for several top aviation magazines on various topics including mental proficiency and now her first aviation novel-in-progress. People skills and excellent listening yield creative marketing and sales.
Recreation, fitness, and sports are priorities for Christina who competes in the local triathlon, the annual 20-mile Boulder Mountain Tour skate ski race in Sun Valley, backpacks 50+ miles each summer in the wilderness, loves fly fishing, reads anything and everything, and flies the backcountry in her Scout.
This unique team produces fascinating results. The Chapmans understand resort market cycles, values, the impact of economic trends, family trusts, and comparative market analysis. They study interest rates, appraisal trends, and title committments. Their clients leave transactions educated about the market and confident that they made a smart purchase. Mike and Christina enjoy residential, 2nd homes, 1031 exchanges, commercial, hangars, lots, and acreages. They have a special niche in fly-in and backcountry properties. They navigate the market with service, promptness, knowledge, and honesty pledging a turbulent-free process.
If you are enthralled with living in a beautiful alpine recreation mecca that includes wilderness, skiing, biking, boating, or fishing, and, at the same time, desire lower rpm to cruise your life, McCall is perfect. If you want to see why the Chapmans moved to McCall from Steambaot, go to the Love of Idaho Backcountry Aviation Slideshow in Slideshow section.
Enjoy area photos in the photo gallery section taken mostly from three backcountry ranches--a unique opportunity found in Idaho. With over 6.2 million acres of wilderness between central Idaho and Montana, the Chapmans enjoy the wilderness whenever possible. Photos reflect a lifestyle not found anywhere else in the lower 48 states.
